DVD-ROM DMA mode set problem

Hi guys!

Does anybody knows how to set DMA mode to DVD-ROM on FreeBSD system?! Something like hdparm command on linux.....

hmmmm..... why there's no activity in this forum?

Alright, I've solved this trouble this way:

In FreeBSD up to 4.5 there's a sysctl param.

sysctl hw.atamode (you need to set your ata modes configuration).

In FreeBSD 4.7 and higher that problem solves with

atacontrol mode params.
