Ситуацията е следната: Инсталиран Win XP Pro, на една папка е поставена отметка на encrypt contents to secure data /поради неблагоразумие или ... на юзера/. Поради еди какво си, админа преинсталира Win-a /няма форматиране/ и предполагам се сещате какво става с тази папка - няма достъп до нея. Естествено там се намира едногодишен труд на ползвателя, който труд засега може да се види само като имена на файлове - при опит за отваряне - access "ц". Давайте идеи с какво може да се помогне.

= Introduction
Advanced EFS Data Recovery (or simply AEFSDR) is a program to recover (decrypt) files encrypted on NTFS (EFS) partitions created in Windows 2000. Files are being decrypted even in a case when the system is not bootable and so you cannot log on, and/or some encryption keys (private or master) have been tampered. Besides, decryption is possible even when Windows is protected using SYSKEY. AEFSDR effectively (and instantly) decrypts the files protected under all versions of Windows 2000 (including Service Packs 1, 2 and 3).
= Requirements
- Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP
- Administrator privileges (for direct disk access).
= Known problems and limitations
- The program can decrypt protected files only if encryption keys (at least, some of them) are still exist in the system and have not been tampered.
- Only "Basic" (but not "Dynamic") NTFS partitions are supported.
- If Account Database Key (SYSKEY) is stored on floppy disk, or if "Password Startup" option has been set, you should know the password of user who encrypted the files, or the password of Recovery Agent (if one is availbale) in order to be able to decrypt the files.
- If the computer was a part of domain at a time when the files were encrypted, you may not be able to decrypt the files in some cases.
- If password of the user (who encrypted the files) have been changed after encryption, you may need to enter the old password into the program.
- Files protected under Windows XP are not supported (yet).
- The program has been tested only on files created under U.S. version of Windows 2000; if any other (international) version has been used, correct work is not guaranteed.
pentagod, вече четох всичко това и свалих програмата за тест, въпреки предпоследната точка, но още не съм пробвал. И без това май не ми остават много възможности, поне за сега няма никакви идеи от никъде ... Иначе всичко е върнато максимално към предишното положение - име на админ, парола, група (не е бил част от домейн)... Не е ползванo Active directory, но няма и .cer файл. Лошото е че и аз нямам никакъв опит с това чудо на Бил...
то ако можеше да се декриптира без ключ целия EFS щеше да е безмислен. Щом не си ексрортнал сертификата предварително по добре не се мъчи особено ако е правен Clean install.
Coppermine, разбирам че шансовете са почти 0, но става дума за доста важна информация и за това се опитвам и да помогна. Все пак може и да изникне "нещо от някъде".
