DELL WiFi

Имам DELL Inspirion 5010 слагам Ubuntu 10.04 (с BackTrack резултата е същия) и не намира никакви мрежи... изобщо не разпознава wifi адаптора...

Покажи изхода от lspci и файла /var/log/dmesg , ако го има все още в Убунту . Ако го няма dmesg може /var/log/syslog .

Проблема е с драйвера - http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php пробвай с този!

Или ако ти е по-лесно, да си инсталираш bcmwl-kernel-source с apt-get , или както ти е удобно.

претърпях провал... това ми е първия допир с linux...
системата заби нито win нито linux искаше да тръгне резултата в момента на PC-то имам win + два linux-a :D
изписа ми

опитах се да преинсталиран win някакъв излязоха някакви грешки изобщо не тръгна...
но за сметка на това инсталацията на Ubuntu нямаше проблем и сега си го имам два пъти

доколкото разбрах за да използвам "bcmwl-kernel-source с apt-get" ми е нужен интернет а това е нещото което се опитвам да пусна

за казаното от glowndark ще го пробвам утре че не ми останаха нерви сега :D




П.С. да направя ли пълен формат и всичко отначало?

Пакетът може да го свалиш от ТУК, да си го замъкнеш на лаптопа, и със

dpkg -i 'imeto na paketa'

да си го инсталираш. А този лаптоп няма ли Ethernet интерфейс ? Относно двете инсталации на убунту, аз лично бих ги затрил и бих инсталирал едно на чисто.
