* To turn the scanner light off, press the right and left arrow keys on the control panel simultaneously.


Caution

Turning the fluorescent scanner lamp on and off will place a great deal of stress on the fluorescent starter unit of the scanner lamp, greatly reducing the life of the lamp.

* The scanner lamp will automatically turn off after approximately 16 hours if the unit is not used.
* If there is any activity to the unit (scanning, printing, faxing, copying) before the 16 hours has passed, the scanner lamp will remain on.
