We calibrated a 75 and 65 900F at the Value Electronics showroom yesterday and a 940E for comparison. Below are the calibration scans for the 75900F. What's notable was the 900Fs were pushing blue out of the box and after calibration the CMS was remarkably accurate. The calibration controls worked very well. I think they made some improvements in that area.
As far as the PQ, it was very good but not quite as good as the 940E which had noticeably darker blacks. I can't comment on the picture processing and motion but my guess is that it's better than the 900E since it's using the X1Extreme processor. Also the panel filter is different between the 900F and the 940E. The 940E has that dark non-reflective panel filter were the 900Fs panel filter was not as black and had more reflections. Robert and I thought overall, the 900F has a great picture, close, but not quite as good as the higher end Sonys.
In HDR the peak brightness was follows:
75900F: 1024 nits
940E:1172 nits
